2011 06 12 015.JPG - Finding poor unfortunate flying fish on the deck of the boat was a daily occurance. It was usually the kids job to go up on deck each morning and clear away the dead flying fish.(The record was 17 in one night!!). Occasionally we would notice one as it landed on deck, and manage to throw it back alive. On this passage, for the first time, we also had baby squid landing on the boat. The worst thing about that was if they "inked" - we are still trying to clean off the black ink stains from our white deck!
